This historic villa, constructed during the latter half of the 19th century, is nestled amidst the hills of Lastra a Signa, just 20 minutes away from Florence. Surrounded by 7 hectares of parkland adorned with olive trees and vineyards, the villa boasts a meticulously maintained garden with lush lawns, vibrant flowers, and a panoramic terrace offering breathtaking vistas of the Tuscan countryside and the city of Florence, including its majestic Cathedral. Among the outdoor spaces, you will discover two charming gazebos that serve as lounges and dining areas, complete with a dining table accommodating 12 people, providing an ideal setting for delightful alfresco meals while marveling at the picturesque surroundings. The property also features a splendid swimming pool (10.6 x 5 meters) equipped with comfortable sun loungers and an external shower offering both hot and cold water.

Internal Description

Spread across three floors, including an attic, Villa Colomba is exquisitely furnished in a typical late 19th-century Tuscan style, featuring period furniture. It offers accommodation for up to 13 guests with its 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. Pets are allowed upon request, and the property provides Internet Wi-Fi access. Air conditioning is available in the dining room and all bedrooms. Should any issues arise, two housekeepers are available to assist the guests.

The bedrooms are distributed as follows: a suite with a double bed, two double bedrooms that can be converted into twin rooms, one bedroom with a French bed, one twin bedroom, and two single bedrooms. Additionally, upon request, an extra single bed can be added to one of the bedrooms. The property comprises 5 internal bathrooms, including one in the suite, one with a shower and bathtub, two with showers, and a toilet. Furthermore, there are two external bathrooms near the pool area.

The living area encompasses a spacious living room adorned with comfortable sofas and a fireplace, a dining room, a sitting room featuring sofas and a television, and a games room situated in the attic. The kitchen is fully equipped with a hob, oven, two refrigerators, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, and toaster.
